So here is my cutting diet

This is my first attemp at a strict cutting diet. I posted my pics and stats up here My first pics post - fatboy before I cut Please advise on my diet. My caloric intake is set at a little over 2200. At a weight of 210 the harris-elliot excel sheet shows I should be eating somewhere between 2600 and 3000 cals. The cutting sticky looks like I should be closer to 2200-2300 cals. I just want to make sure I don't lose my precious muscle. Thanks in advance.

    Supplements:
    Dicana, Tonalin, Muti-vitamin, Glutamine

    Meal 1:
8 egg whites, 1/2 cup oatmeal, 5g glutamine

CARDIO???? first thing in the AM 45-60 mins with your THR between 65-75%
    Supplements:
    Dicana, Tonalin, Muti-vitamin, Glutamine

    Meal 1:
8 egg whites, 1/2 cup oatmeal, 5g glutamine
    FINE
    Meal 2:
    PWO
    45g Protein, 90g carbs
    Non-workout day
2 cans tuna or two Chix breast with veggies
PWO LOOKS FINE, ALTHOUGH THATS AN OVERKILL ON PROTEIN ON YOUR OFF DAYS FOR SOMEONE 210, I CAN IS FINE
    Meal 3:
2 cans tuna or two Chix breast with veggies
ON LIFTING DAYS THIS MEAL NEEDS TO BE 60 MINS AFTER PWO AND HAVE CARBS IN IT LIKE RICE OR POTATOES

    Meal 4:
    Shake
    69g Protein, 2 tbsp flax
    FINE

    Meal 5:
2 cans tuna or two Chix breast with veggies, 1/2 cup oatmeal
DROP THE OATMEAL, ADD AN EFA

    Meal 6:
    Shake
    69g Protein, 2 tbsp flax
    FINE
IT IS ALSO BEST TO GET IN AT LEAST 3 MEALS BETWEEN CARDIO AND LIFTING, ESP IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR STRENGTH

I'm also drinking about 1 1/2 gal of water a day.

    BEST OF LUCK

Thanks for the info. I'll make the changes right away. I am doing cardio (jogging, stairsteppep) 3 days a week for 45min. I also have Aikido about 5hours a week which involves some light cardio.

I was looking at the protein in my meals (not shakes) and if I cut the protein in half I come out to 273grams of protein for the day. I was trying to get at least 300 and am currently taking in about 333gams. Is 273 enough for both on and off days? Also, I am cycling my carbs by taking out the PWO shake on non-workout days and adding an EFA, is that okay?

Overall looks ok. I'd add some kind of fat source in with just your tuna/ chicken and veggie meals.

    273 is plenty.

and EFA's can't ever hurt with pro\fat meal.

    Add some flax seed oil....

That's alot of tuna.....wonder what the mercury levels would be consuming that much tuna over a period of time

I was worried about the same thing so, I cut down the amount of tuna to one can per meal if I use it. This still leaves me at 273G of protein. I made chicken instead of tuna today and am going to try and keep more chicken than tuna in my diet. Also, I am taking flax seed oil with every pro/fat meal. I think one of the only things left to be done is up my fiber. Even though I'm shi**ing, constipation hit me at Aikido practice yesterday and a little when I was running today. Felt like I had a stomach full of rocks!!
