Honey PWO
I ran out of dex yesterday, and didnt have time to buy any sweet tarts prior to lifting, so I used honey for my PWO carbs. Does anybody know the glycemic index of honey? And was this a good choice, I may not get my dex in until saturday, leaving me with nothing tommorrow as well (cant stand eating 80 sweetarts)

Between 40 - 70 on the GI. You can check it out at glycemic index .com. Also try gatorade post workout.

Honey is good to use, yes, that's an old school product that people used to use a lot.

nice, i didn't know that... is honey just as good as dex?

No, but it's good in a pinch when dex is not available.
