What is good to snack on in the middle of the night? I often wake up very hungry looking for what ever to eat. What would be the best thing to consume at 3 in the morning the nights that I wake up. I feel like I need an entire meal.

Cottage cheese, protein shake.
P.y.D !!
What is Pyd
Is there a specific kind of cottage cheese thats better than all the others?
Post your Diet :D
I usually eat egg whites for breakfast, Meal raplacement drink, tuna for my second meal, some chicken or turkey burgers for lunch, protien bar, post workout shake and last meal i will eat a high protien low carb dinner, such as steak more tuna etc...
I try to stay ass regimined as possible but I work 40 hours a week and also do landscaping every Sat or Sunday so at times its hard to always keep up, but I try.
Though at night I always seem to be more hungry than any other time of the day wierd.
Do you have any suggestions on maybe what better things to eat and in any particular order?
protein with 0-very low carbs and fat, that'd be your only choice
I think you could take a protein shake with some flax oil mixed in to slow down the whey protein break down.

I always use a whey protein and healthy fat myself.
Experiment to find what works for you. :)

I don't think a protein shake with flax or another form of fat would do you much good since you're hungry...
You're best bet would some cott.ch., with a couple of egg whites and some vegetables, you can mix all of it and store it in the fridge so its ready when you wake up
what about a homemade protein bar with peanut butter/whey/oats ?? I love the bars I make and could eat them forever. I know its mixing carbs/fat but its oats so best carbs full of fibre and the fibre will really help to slow down absorbtion and so will the good fats from the PB.
I wouldn't do it unless when bulking, because its a) carbs with fat, like you said, and b) carbs at night which also isn't goodQuote:
