    silver spoon sugar after training

    Just a Quick one,, this morning I after training, I had ran out of dextrose, the only option I had was to use granulated sugar (silver spoon) is this better than nothing???

    silver spoon is just another fancy name for table sugar rite?

    m&ms have dex in em , honey even if u run outta dex for a week its not gonna kill ya......... i think gatorade or those carb drinks r full of dex......

    Yeah, if abused, the powdered gatorade mix is good stuff.

    Table sugar is not a good choice for glycogen replinishment, no.

    Honey is superior.

    How do you employ honey post/wo, take it straight, mix it in a shake? Also if were talking pure honey here what are the amounts voulme wise, a couple few tablespoons?

    if i remember rite , sugar gives a higher insulin spike when deliverd thru water so i think the same applies to honey even tho its kinda liquidy already.....read the nutrition facts and apply same rule

    that would be fructose, not no1 but i think it would do to a point,

    i think it could go somthing like this

    1(Glucose) is found in some fruits, onions, vegetables, and liquid or tablet form glucose is the bodies first energy supply.

    2 dextrose..I reason I put this second to glucose is that it is required by the body to be broken down before use glucose is not..

    3 fructose

    4 Galactose is the sugar found in milk.
