    pre workout carb absorsion

I got the 2:1 ration pwo and about 2:1 1/2 ppwo but what about the 2-3 hours prior to a workout? I usually do 54 carbs from 1 cup of oats and 13 egg whites with 45.5 protein and then a scoop of whey :30 mintues before hitting the weights. Any suggestions. These are my only carb meals for the day. The rest of the day it is whey, chicken and EFA's with brocolli or spinach. I lift about 5 in the evening becasue I like doing morning cardio. My preworkout carbs were at 12 but I am going to move them to 3:00 to see if I feel any different.

I suposse your cutting? If you are there is no need for preworkout carbs, you can just have the pro/fat meal and it will give you all the energy you need

I have my carb/pro offering usually about an hour to an hour and a half before I go and lift.

It's different for everyone brutha, I still have carbs before working out when cutting as I blast right through them during a workout.
