Slimfast To Gain Weight?
I'm not currently on a strict diet I just try to eat healthy and eat a lot.. I'm trying to go up in weight but I'm a running athlete so it's a little difficult..anyhow I noticed my mom had some slimfast drinks in the fridge and they look pretty healthy can drinking this help me gain weight even though the purpose is to lose weight..
its rich in vitamins.. 10gr protein total fat 5gm 550mg potassium sugars 17 sodium 200mg

In my opinion, you could use a drink like that, but only along with a full meal. By itself it does not contain enough nutrients. There are better shakes out there for the purpose of gaining wt. EAS, Myoplex, ect., and I would still recommend eating a full meal with one of these drinks to either bridge the hunger gap or add to the meal.

My football coach use to tell the skinny guys to drink a full glass of whole milk and eat a big peanut butter sandwich everynight before you go to bed....lots of fat and protein...if ur skin and bones, you can never really get enough of that....

Gotta love those un-informed idiot football coaches.
I had one in high school say the same shit.
They have no understanding of nutrition, which is why they usually have HUGE beer bellies themselves.

Yeah, eat tons of fat and carbs, then lay down and go to sleep.

i remember back when wrestling the advice was to eat 10-15 big hot cheese sandwiches before beed along with a couple of glasses of milk Didnt come from the coach though.

Drink'em all the time in between all other meals & supps. For the extra vitamins/pro etc (get them free).

I can't stand slimfast... pretty much alot of sugar, at least the last time I looked at them.....
Hell my college coach had me drinking a large strawberry shake and xl french fries before i went to bed to keep my weight up..... luckilly I did enough running and lifting on my own to keep alot of the fat off of me at the time...

Weight gainer shakes have about 85 grams of sugar in them. I can't imagine eating that many hotdogs...the bi-products alone would kill ya.

i like the slimfats drinks when im not tryin to lose BF.. but you need to add more protein to them.. thats the only downside, plus if they arnt really cold, they taste like crap..
