muscle milk, ok while cutting?
i work right next to a nutrition store so drinking a shake when i am hungry is easy. my question is, is muscle milk(33g protein, 16g fat and 13 carbs) good to drink while i am on a cutting diet. i usually have this as my 3rd meal of the day. or is it better to drink a reg ABB protein shake(50g protein, no fat and no carbs). thanks in advance...

I don't think Muscle Milk is a good idea while cutting.
Get a sustained release protein like Syntrax Matrix 5.0 or similar.

hell yeah its a good idea, i went through a jug and a half, but i drink it before bed for the casein, within taking that jug i got down to a six pack so take it as you will.
it's damn good too.

I'd never use that stuff myself, no.
To each his own however, but especially if you are cutting, no no no.......

I'll admit it tastes good.... but I wouldn't use it, especially when cutting. Than again I hate shakes, except my pwo shake. I prefer solid food as much as possible.

I don't even know if I'd use it if I was trying to bulk up. The macronutrient breakdown seems pretty unideal.

I used to use Muscle Milk for the taste but the carbs and fat were too high. I too am cutting. I tried CytoSport EvoPro which is made by the makers of Muscle Milk. The cookies and cream EvoPro tastes just as good. And the other flavors like Apple and Melon are great. 1 scoop gets you 145 cal, 3 fat, 3 carb, 26 fat
The protein also is casien so I usually get 2 scoops of this, water and a tablespoon of flax for my bedtime meal. I think its a great replacement for those who love Muscle Milk and want to cut.
