I have the same damn thing, Optimum Nutrition has on whey protein that is lactose free, works very good for me.

Whey has way to much benefits for me to stop using it, i found out that i get less bloating using ON protein also.

I used to eat cottage cheese before to get the casein protein in it but got huge bloating, stomach upset and other uncomfortable effects.
