PPWO and Fiber?
I am confused... I thought you're not supposed to eat fiber on your ppwo meal because you don't want to slow down absorption in any way...
However, I see bros all the time suggesting yams, oats and brown rice for PPWO, which are ALL high in fiber...
So what's the deal here?

You've got it wrong...It is on in the PWO meal that a spike of insulin and quick assimilating carbohydrates are desired...The spike cuts cortisol production and pushes glucose and amino acids into the muscles quickly for recovery.
In the hours following a workout, carbs are still assimilated better than at any other time of the day... but the spike isn't necessary. Thus slower digesting carbs are rule of thumb for PPWO meals

That's what I though too, the least amount of fibers possible in both pwo...
Anybody else?

I never use yams/brown rice/etc.
Reason being, I hate that nasty shit.
I'm a white rice/grits/cream of wheat/sushi/type of guy.
