    100 g of potatoes/bread is 100 g of carbs right?

If a piece of white bread or a bagell (sp?) weighs 100 g then its 100 g of carbs right? (I'm aware they also have fat, some a lot, some very little)

    Same question for potatoes?

a cup of white bread has bout 16 grams carbs , 1-3 grams of protein , 2 grams fat smth like that....from fitday i saw it a long time ago so this might be incorrect...
    if 1 kilo=1 liter

    a cup = 200 ml=200grams
then half a cup =100 grams
then 100 grams=8 grams , 1 gram protein , .5 grams fat , and the rest it crap i guess....
so where is the rest of the 100grams? its a mystery...
