    Do I really have to...

I'm really nice and leaned up for summer, although I would like a moderate amount of growth in my chest shoulders and back. being that its summer, i really dont want to do a bulk. is there an alternative to bulking..is it always bulking or cutting? i mean can there be steady increases? let me know and elaborate if you have time.

if i understood wt u ment, then no, u got to bulk then cut. since bulking requires a big load of Carbs which is the opposite of Cutting.

I think you can bulk really clean but its tough and you'd have to bust your arse. Its probably a VERY slow process.

Sure, there is such a thing as a LEAN BULK, the process is slower then regular bulking since you don't have tons of excess calories, but it still happens though
