Are you saying Vegertarian flax. If so, flax is not an animal product like fish oil is. It comes from a seed.

there's no difference compositionwise...both contain the exact same ratios of fats..and calories.

The difference may lie in the processing...and price

"Vegetarian flax" is produced in a factory where animal by-product-free goods are made...thus there's a surety that there's no traces of animal by-product in the finished good.

"Certified Organic" simply indicates that the land that the flax plant was cultivated on had been free of pesticides for a set number of years: as pre-set by the organic licensing committee.

    Both terms are irrelevant.

BUMP to Dr.Shred's Udo Flax Oil suggestion

well I have to say organic might be better. The quality of any plant based product is dependant on the soil. Organicly grown foods are grown with natural fertelizer and that increases mineral content in veggies for instance(artificialy fertilised grounds produces veggies with as little as 1/8 of the minerals in organicly grown).

How it would effect flax Im not sure. Probably not the fatty acids but maby the lignants in it. Anyway going with organic is ALWAYS a good choise since its a active support of organicly grown foods.

Artificial fertilizers is the most ****ed upp thing there is.

going with organic also means less possibility for any harmfull shit to get into the seeds(and into the oil in other words).

Always choosing organicly grown products is one easy step to improve food quality and micro content.

Damn Im starting to sound like a freaking health nut
