    Sluggish after all pro/fat meals...

Hi all, I've just started eating pro/carb and pro/fat meals again after a year break from this diet, and what i've noticed whenever I consume a pro/fat meal, my brain seems to function real slow, I'm not as alert and it pisses me off at times. But after 3 hours has passed and i consume a pro/carb meal everything becomes fine and dandy. So whats up? Do i have to give myself time to adapt to a diet like this? Or should I cut down on the pro/fat meals in place for more pro/carb meals? tHANKS.

Could be going slightly hypo due to low blood sugar....Happens to me all the time. You may have to incorporate some more carbs into the diet.

What truly is the diff. or why do people prefer c/f vs p/f?

For first three meals of the day if training late in pm? Can you keep alternating?

    i think u mean C/P over F/P
this is because your brain actually prefers carbs as its only real source of fuel makes you think better and feel better usually

plus it helps to replinish your glycogen and prep you for the day.. and then people save their f/p meals for later in the day to maintain a lower and more stable state of bglucose to reduce fat storage and induce a lipolytic state during bed time to burn fat

i always have a pro/carb meal in the morning regardless of wether i'm cutting or bulking
glycogen levels are low in the morning - you are at your most catabolic first thing in the morning

i would just make my last 2 meals pro/fat and the rest pro/carb. and a cup of coffee or some caffeine during the day would help too.

Try to adapt to it and if you cant replace a pro/fat meal with a pro/carb meal. What kind of carbs do you eat in your pro/carb meals? Make sure they are low gi so you get a steady blood sugar. That might solve it.
