I would say steady insulin levels. Don't try to spike them. People can cosume a low GI carb liek Oatmeal fro breakfast and that is fine. Because after that you meals will stil most likely be pro/fat. I think at the end of the day it depends on the person. I fyouc an not tolertate carbs with out getting hunger pains etc... Then go only pro/fat....If you tend to go hypo then you may wanna add some carbs for breakfast and around you workout. The whole carbs thing I really do believe should be taylored to the indiviual.
