pwo shake on non workout days

would it be ok to have a protein shake with dex after I push mow my lawn in 100F heat for an hour?

I read once where swole said to not have a post workout shake anytime other than pwo...but the lawn mowing was a cardio like workout.

    comments?

Depends on the intensity oif your cardio.....If one was doing a HIIT style program it would be advisable to have a shake afterwards, as this would be much like weight training. If its low intensity, the need for muscle and glycogenrecovery is not present, as LI cardio relies mainly on FFA's as a fuel source.

You said dextrose, then you said a protein shake.

    Which one is it?

As well, dextrose after cardio is ridiculously not necessary.
