falx making you throw up?

has any threw up after a shake with flax in it? usualy after cardio i drink a pot of green tea and then 30 mins after i down a prot/fat shake.. i recently bought flax and have been feeling sick after downing it... i dunno if its the flax or it just not sitting right with the green tea in my stomach but today it actually forced me to throw up. not that bad seeing how it was empty stomach just wasted 50g of my protein powder but i ate a chicken and some natty pb after. Does any1 have reactions with flax like this..tomor il try without the green tea and see if im better.

I know that if I take green tea capsules on an empty stomach, I barf about 20-30 mins. later. My stomach just can't handle that for some reason. I am fine w/flax though, never had an issue there.

you did refrigerate after opening right ??? i have to take Flax with me to work so i pack it in ice make sure you always keep it cold that could be the problem

yep just checked on the bottle says REFRIGERATE after opening...i put it in the fridge...is it still good

It makes me throw up every time. I buy the organic form and keep it refrigerated . It's great when dieting cause I can eat a ton of food and then take my flax and out it comes. :lol:

Dude, I would bet money its the green tea. Try some lemon in there...or try not to drink as much of it. Its not necessarily the flax.

I used to have a problem with green tea pretty bad. Especially if you use multiple teabags, or make it really strong. Hard on the stomach, thats for sure.

ok i had my protein/flax shake this morn after being rewfrigerated without the green tea....no problems..the only thing is...am i still gettin the nutrional benfits from it even tho it was exposed to room temperatures...do i need to buy a new bottle?

buy a new one to be safe!

but to be honest I have used flax that first was in room temperature in the store(I cant get ahold of refridergated flax)and then was in room temperature at home for weeks. Never got sic from it.

yeah dude, flax gets as funky as james brown if it's left out. Buy a new bottle for how little it costs.

It's the green tea IMO.

When'd you start ingesting a pot of green-tea post cardio?

Try drinking the green tea prior to cardio...it's more productive prior to anyway...[due to it's effect on thermogenesis...and it's antioxidative properties]
