    tuna in pro/carb question

Is 2 cans of tuna, lite mayo and pickle relish on 4 pieces of wheat bread bad to have? I am under the impression that bread makes you hold too much water so i figured it wouldnt be smart while cutting.

Mayo has 1gram of fat and its not saturated
pickle relish has 4 grams of sugar which doesnt seem too much.

let me know waht you guys think of this combo that i sometimes use for my pro carb meal about an hour before i lift

If you must eat bread....I would eat something that is whole grain, that coupled with the fact that you are eating the bread with tuna should make thee GI fairly low. Bread isn't the best of carb sources but you could use it from time to time.

I dont think its generally accepted here to mix carbs and fat with protein in the same meal even if the bread is low GI. Best results come from seperation. JMO!

Nevermind. i just reread the post and see thats its low fat mayo for a pro/carb meal. I think this is acceptable! My bad bro.

D@mn I don't know - it doesn't sound to good to me - pro/fat/carb is not good while cutting no matter what the GI is, and especially if you use full fat mayo

If you are cutting and also wanna lower ur carb count than sometimes I use a whole wheat pita instead of 4 bread slices. You can fit two cans in a pita. its thick but still good.
