Getting tonsils out and don't want to lose muscle..help!

Hey guys....I'm getting my tonsils out in two weeks and it'll be hard to eat for a couple days after that. Right now I'm not really bulking or cutting, because of the circumstances following shortly......and I just want some suggestions on how I should eat, like when and what. If you guys can give me any tips I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks...

I'd probably go with lots of shakes and oatmeal, unless you want to take it to the next level... and blend? Also lots of vitamins and antioxidents to speed up recovery. JMO

Well.... I say just take it easy and don't stress and recover. Just eat what ya can but make it clean. I would hit up the shakes at least.

Had mine taken out a while back. Protein shakes blended with ice were awesome feeling. For most my meals thats what i consumed besides a bowl of ice cream (first meal after ) and cottage cheese at night. Good luck it doesnt take too long.

do any of you recommend a low carb diet? fattier foods would be a lot easier to swallow, like avocado's, cottage cheese, shakes for protein with flax and veggies.
