    what to eat after a few beers

    i like to go and have a few drinks at the weekend - i try to make it only once a week and try not to over do it

    my question is what is a good thing to eat after you have come home after a few beers and are about to go to bed

    usually i would have a pro/fat meal

    but is there any point with alcohol in your system? given that alcohol slows protein synthesis
    will it do more harm than good?
    will the carbs i have consumed threw the drink have a negative effect on pro/fat meal and cause me to store all the fat?

    its a pro/fat meal bro...no effect on Insulin

    Id stick to a pro/carb meal carbs being ver LOW GI/LOAD

    like lentils , soybeans , white beans with some chicken or smth

    I always thought fat should be avoided at all costs while alcohol was in th system since your body is de****g with the "poison" you gave it and will just store basically ALL of the fat you ingest??

    What about just some lean protein seeing how u already have a spike from all the carbs in the beer?

    yeah i agree about the fat being a bad idea

    also i have heard that alcohol prohibits protein being absorbed in the intestines

    however i have no idea to what degree
