besides rice what is the best source of complex carbs preferably something easy to make. i eat alot of oat meal but that ish gets old after a while and whenever i cook rice i always f@#k it up. i was reading a thread about cream of wheat, and cream of rice is this stuff comperable to rice and oatmeal. also what are your thoughts on wheat bread 100% whole grain unbromoted stone ground all that crap alot of people say all bread sucks but i would like to believe thats not true. thanks.

the only thing i might agree with is the lima beans &soybeans

the amount of carbs in these food wether it's high or low, don't make it count as carbohydrate food, it's LEGUMS.
i didnot say it has no carbs. i did say it has good amount of it. but if we are strictly speaking carbs. foods then they don't count

In addition, they're a good source of fiber — the part of plant-based foods that your body doesn't digest

this is probably the part u were looking @....

not all the carbs are fiber
which i why i stated how many are fiber and how many are actual carbs....

CONCLUSION: legumes are a good souce of fiber , some of protein , and most give a good amount of low GI and low GI LOAD carbs which will be used by the body.....

    cheers
