    Oatmeal

    Oatmeal has some sugar and fat in it, is that normal?

    I'm asking because I couldn't find it in my country till now - DON'T ASK

    PS It isn't flavoured or anything

    No it's not normal. There is no sugar in oatmeal unless you purchased a processed form of oatmeal, and you said you didn't . Min fat. Here is the nutritional content of a cup of oats

    Do you not have Scotts 100% rolled oats in your country bro? Thats what i use.

    OK so I got my oatmeal...

    it's :

    per 100 g
    - 352 kcal
    - protein 13,5 g
    - carbs 58,7 g
    - fat 7 g

    Sounds good?

    i use quaker oats but they have 8g fat per 100g
    and 60g carbs

    i thought the fat content was a little high
    i saw some oats made by Jordans the other day and they had no fat or sugar in them so i may switch to that brand

    yes mate... thats good.... I have quaker white oats..... its like pieces of small paper or something.. its all in small pieces.... I have 4 tbs when ever I wake up... after my eggs.... and protein shake. I tought it should taste horrible... but its not that bad with skimmed milk.

    i just had a bowl of 75g oats - 4 egg whites and 23g chocolate whey - all mixed up and heated in the microwave with extra water added

    it tasted fcking lovely - first time i tried it just now - i thought it was gonna be horrible

    Thanks bros...how shoult I prepare it? I suposse I just some water in, and it soaks it up an about 20 min and then I can mix some protien powder in?

    Can I also mix cattoage chesse abd veggies or would be too much carb and fat mixing?

    I mix 1 cup of oats with cold water, then microwave till hot. Oats and cottage cheese? I wouldnt like that myself! I have mine with cinnamon and splenda and a handful or raisins... yum yum!

    I always thought egg whites and oats would be horrid too.... i might have to give it a try though.

    cook for 1min - mix well add water - then cook for another min add more water and mix well again - add protein
