    The Fat List

    Please add food sources of fats we need to eat. List the food, type of fat in it, and possibly the amount of fat in a certain amount of the food. Keep in mind that saturated, mono, and poly fats all have a role for us... Ill start with a couple common fat sources :

    Beef : saturated fat, good for protein/fat meal

    Olive oil : monos, polys and saturates....

    Flax oil : EFA's like crazy

    Peanut Butter : monos, saturates

    Butter : mmm butter, saturated

    Unfortunetly the human body does require a small amount of saturated fats to function.They exist in the oils you mentioned above as well.

    I prefer Udo's oil to flax oil myself.More nutrients the better.Flax is somewhat limited.

    Nice idea for a thread tho.

    Make sure the Flax is made with Lignans, which have nice anti-cancer properties.

    Walnuts, Beef, Fish Oil, Whole Eggs, actual Olives

    ive been eating olives... great for fat intake.
