That is a cheat day for me while cutting becasue If I cheat regular I can easily put away 8000 calories worth of ANYTHING low fat or fat free. It scares me. I am now feeling a need to refill my muscles for the upcoming week and I think the oats are the safest way. I cheated 8 days ago and put down 8200 or so calories. All low fat items and 1 buffet and lost 1 1/2 pounds since then but that kind of eating makes me feel like the hard work for the rest of the week was in vain.

If you wanna keep the fat low that's fine but don't feel like you can't have some high GI carbs, sugar!!!! Have a little fun man, pasta, meats etc... Oats all day would def sufice for a strategic refeed, but I wouldn't call it a cheat day. Also its a good idea to incorporate Hi Gi carbs because of the postive effects of insulin .
