    Whey protein- concentrate or isolate?

    What is your guys' opinions? Is one better than the other?

    Isolate tends to be pure whey without any added fat/carbs/ect...so pwo would be a good time to consume Isolate with dextrose. You want to keep the fat down to a bare minimumn (if any) at pwo. Taking in fat with dextrose will promote fat storage as you are taking in fat while spiking your insulin level. Keep it clean utilizing only pure whey isolate/detrose at a 2 to 1 ratio pwo.

    Concentrate tends to have added fat/carbs/etc...so during the day, pre-workout, would ge a good time to consume concentrate or even as a last meal before bed. If you are cutting I would try to find some concentrate that is relativley low in carbs.

    say if some1 is trying to get down to 10% bf and is not competing or is not so harcore into bodybuilding is this little difference going to make a big deal.....i have a blend..been using isolate the past year and switched to blend to save some cash during university

    Depends on your goals and since you are not "Hardcore" into bb'ing then no, it won't make a difference.

    I use a blend, no problems here. The Blend from All They Whey only has 1g of fat, so it ain't bad.

    Nope.

    1g won't make an impact at all. He just wants to be careful if you get up to 5 and above.

    BTW...I just got my bannana isolate from them and its the best ive tasted yet!

    Yeah dude back when I was uding Dex, Banana was the bomb. I got 25 lbs, and it's getting old. You ever try Chocolate?

    ATW chocolate ****in awesome ..mineaswell call it nestle quick ..and this is with water....if u have 5 extra seconds throw in some ice a lil water and powder and blend nice and smooth like a milkshake..vanilla is good....any1 liek the choc mint?...

    I was going to get the chocolate. Haven't tried any of their protein out yet though. I think I'll go with isolate pwo and concentrate throughout the day like recommended mainly because concentrate is so much cheaper.
