    P/F meal...7grams of fat enough?

I have a meal issue. In my new plan, my preworkout shake can only contain 7 carbs (amount in the whey) to fit into my new calorie alottment. Is this enough. I like to get around 50 grams of protein before lifting. Should I drop the protein down and add 1/2 tbs. of flax or something like that?

not enough, Approx. ratio should be 3.5 : 1
so if u take 50 g protein, u should do about 15 g of fat. but EFA not any fat.

How much protein 1 hour prior to lifting? I take in only 25 after workout becasue of the 50 grams dextrose gives me a 2:1 ratio.

One hour prior I would go with 1 scoop of whey in water with an apple, or a half serving of your normal fat intake.

But the apple will halt fat burning. I like to think that I am burning some fat while lifting and then take measures to presereve or build muscle after a workout.
