    what to eat for the weekend?!

    Ive been following the diet in the cutting thread, works great, but I have a race this weekend (hour and a half, off-road, ATV's) and want to know what I should eat and when to carb up or load up so I have plenty of energy, this will be my first race while doing this diet and just need everything to go right, thanks for the help.

    You should eat the same as you normally do on a day you are not lifting, if you are really taxed for energy just have another low GI carb/protein meal before the event and keep a shake w/ fats nearby for after / breaktime.

    I feel a bit lethargic when I ride on this diet and thought a carb boost might help, just wondering what type of carbs wouldnt totally throw my system out of whack. Ill give the extra meal before i ride a try on my saturday qualifier and go from there. thanks.
