    GI or GL?

I was reading on another website regarding nutrition about Glycemic load. They were saying Glycemic load is more important to the spiking of insulin than Gylsemic index. They were actualy saying that some foods with a High GI have a low GL. anyone know anything about this?

its usually vise versa, some foods have a low GI but a High GL. Basically due to the fat content, some thing like Ice Cream is a perfect example. Packed with Hi Gi sugars but because of the fats its low Gi but its has a very hi GL. GL does need to be paid attention too but through common sense we know that what food are Hi GL are the ones to avoid anyways..........Ice Cream, Pizza, French Fries..........etc..
