I know it is better to eat whole foods instead of drinking shakes. I have been seriously working out for 18 years. Start at 14 and now im 32. I have never been good at dieting. I have always been around 10-13% bf and good amount of muscle size.

I cant stand eating the same boring meals 4-6 time per day. Does it really make that big of a difference to drink 3 meal replacement drinks and 3 whole food meal per day than to eat 5 meals and one shake? Do you guys think it would keep me from speeding up my metabolism?
