OK to use Muscle Milk and Flax oil before bed if bulking?
Right now I'm using 2 scoops of Micellean and 1 tbsp. of flax oil with lignans in 12 oz. of fat free carb control dairy beverage before bed.
However, now I'm looking to bulk up and put some size on. Is it ok if I replace the 2 scoops of Micellean with 2 scoops of Muscle Milk along with the 1 tbsp. of flax oil with lignans in 12 oz. of fat free carb control dairy beverage before bed?

yeah good stuff but try some real food man if you can...i eat 6 oz. (1 can) of tuna fish and 3 tablespoons of natural peanut butter and it ends up being 40-45 grams of protein and 24 grams of fat...plus real food is better for bulking.

Cottage cheese is pretty awesome, but you have to limit it because it has a crapload of sodium. I would say low sodium tuna and peanuts are great. Any protein shake containing calcium caseinate and/or micellular casein proteins is also a good choice piror to bed.

Personally, me drinking MM before bed even w/OUT additional fats, would cause me to lay down fat as the macro breakdown of that product sucks for a before bed-time preparation.

I don't like the macro profile of Muscle Milk for any time of the day. If you're not on a clean bulk, then why not...but if you want to limit the amount of "extra pounds" that go along with putting on muscle, forget the Muscle Milk and use whole foods or an egg protein/healthy fats shake before bed.
