    New Quaker Oatmeal Weight Control

    What do you guys think of this new product to substitute for regular oats - Quaker Oatmeal Weight Control. It has 7 grams of protein, 6 grams of fibre and 1 gram of sugar. I am just SO SICK of fukin plain oats and this one comes in two flavours cinnamon and banana bread. This is the label for the banana bread, let me know if you think this is full of too much crap for dieting.

    INGREDIENTS: WHOLE GRAIN ROLLED OATS, WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE, MALTODEXTRIN, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS, SALT, OAT FLOUR, CALCIUM CARBONATE, GUAR GUM, CARAMEL COLOR, SOY LECITHIN, ACESULFAME POTASSIUM, SUCRALOSE, NIACINAMIDE*, VITAMIN A PALMITATE, REDUCED IRON, PYRIDOXINE HYDROCHLORIDE*, RIBOFLAVIN*, THIAMIN MONONITRATE*, FOLIC ACID*.

    Will do, I'm going to pick up both flavours today. I'm so sick of regular oats I've been skipping them all together with no substitute and feel totally depleted.

    I throw a bit of Brown Sugar and milk in my oats and it makes them so much better. Just adjust the amount of the oats you are using.

    i love my regular oats
    egg whites and falvoured whey is all i need to make them taste good for me

    What is it you don't like about the regular oats SK? I add cinnamon and splenda to mine and it tastes such a treat!

    I just get really sick of foods if I eat them all the time. I think I've eaten oats daily for the last 10 weeks and now I cant stand the sight of them. Breakfast use to be my favorite meal of the day because of the carbs and now I cant stand it. I've also developed an aversion to egg whites, salmon, and even chicken!

    ditto...i just got some apple pie spice though (thanks to a recommendation from PinkVelvet) and it is even better!!

    I know what you mean. Its just a game of mind over matter though. Have you tried Weetabix? That is the only other carb i have for breakfast. 100% whole wheat.

    the folks at cyto sport put out a muscle milk n' oats a few months ago, similar to that. But flavored whey usually does it for me. I also like the strawberries and creme low sugar quaker oats with strawberry whey... yummy.

    Cinnamon weight control oatmeal is the bomb! and it basically has the same nutritional facts as old fashion oats.

    I eat oats or farina (cream of wheat) every morning with sugar free syrup and cinnamon

    im starving just thinking about all these carbs. I think im going to the grocery store right now so I have some sugar free syrup. I just eat everything plain. Yuk

    My Oats, cinnamon and splenda mix is my favourite meal of the day mmmmmmmm!
