    How much fat while cutting

    Stats are 6'5", 240lbs, about 15% b.f.

I'm following the cutting sticky to a "T", but just want to make sure that I'm staying within my limits on fat intake. Currently, I typically have 4 pro/fat meals, and 2 carb/pro meals (both are PWO and PPWO). Two of my pro/fat meals are shakes w/ water, whey, and 1 tbsp of natty pb, along with a CLA pill that has flax in it. The other two meals are usually tuna w/ 2tbsp of mayo, or a salad that has cheese, egg, chicken, ranch, mushrooms in it (so it's pretty fatty). Anyhow, let me know if my fats are in check. I usally take the CLA and flax(1 tbsp.) w/ my shakes as well. Thanks

how many grams of fat are you getting per day

it be helpful if you could lay out the totals for each meal (incl Pro and carb) and a total for the whole day

i think how much fat you need really depends on your body type and metabolism - some people cut well on 20% fat - personally frfom experience i know that i get better results with using less fat - 10 - 15%

Yeah.....There's no set number, you have to try for yourself and see what suits you best.

I have 125g of carbs in this diet (all in PWO nutrition), which is plenty considering feedback that I've gotten in the past.

As far as doubling the fat, that would put my fat intake abover 20% of my total kcals. Is this OK while cutting?

agreed...You would need 50g alone just for brain function

    is that right?
i mean i knew the brain requires glucose to function properly but i didnt realise there was a strict amount - presumably this would vary greatly from each individual to the next

SPG is right on the money. The brain needs 50g of glucose per day and will do whatever it takes to get it, either from Carbohydrates, Ketosis, Gluconeogensis. Carbs would be the best option, glucose is fuel for just about everything.
