Is there a good whey protein supplement that is low in cholesterol out there?
The ones I have used are around 70mg per serving and that's a lot considering that I have 5-6 servings a day.
I need one that is low in sugar as well. i am a type 2 diabetic.
you dont need to worry about consuming cholesterol in foods - this doesnt increase blood cholesterol levels
what you need to avoid is the oxidation of cholesterol in your blood and this happens when saturated and trans fats oxidise into free radicals
avoid these types of fats if you want to keep you cholesterol levels in check
consume polyunsaturated and monounstaurated fats to keep LDL levels low and HDL levels High
and do not cook your oils (particularly oils containing predominantly polyunsaturated fats , omega 3 and 6)
