    Post workout final thought

Quick hypothetical question. Let's say you finish training and then can plan to have two very quick shakes before bed, just becuase sleep and digestion appear easier when they are shakes. Would you still benefit from the following?

7PM 40G WHEY, 1/2 CUP QUICK OATS AND 2 RICE CAKES (RICE CAKES EATEN, OATS BLENDED)

AND THEN A THICK CASEIN, EGG WHITE, SKIM SHAKE WITH SOME UDOS
(50G PRO, 15-20G FAT) about 10 minutes before bed?

Rather than a full meal so close to sleeep.........or, would cottage cheese with a few large handfuls of almonds be a better choice? Thanks fellas. Keep in mind, I take in 1/2 cup oats pre train and 1/2 cup post......carbs feel adequate.

You are much better off eating a solid meal before bed. Cottage Cheese and Udo's would be your best bet.

We already did a plethora of times before, yet you still don't incorporate it.

I'd have a Bic Mac and fries before bed and just say f*ck it!

sc...what is ideal and what i am able to do are two different things....I find a shake and either another shake or some cottage cheese before bed (with some fats) are easier on my stomach....jst wanted to see if it would be a problem......you would suggest oats and tuna or eggs as a final meal eh?

You can have a pro/fat meal, but for some outer space reason you can't have a standard carb/protein meal?

    Yeah, that's a tough one.

mainly because I would rather crash within 5 minutes having eaten fat/pro than carb/pro...but if you think I'd be better off, staying lean with carb/pro i'm all for it
