I normally buy my oatmeal in the "Quaker Oats' packs regular flavor. I have two of these packs in skim milk mixed with some splenda in the morning. Do any of you use these or do buy you it in bulk?

i just buy the cylinder of Quaker 1 min oats, cost like 2bucks has like 30 1/2 cup servings
Did the cylinder... I kept 2 cylinders and now i just pick up a "Box o' Quaker" at Costco with my "Box o' Kirkland Breast" the box of oats has the same volume of 5 cylinders
Go to sam's and buy in bulk alot cheaper and you won't run out for along time smakQuote:

thats still a really good deal! how much in each box?
They're standard size pint (?) boxes. Same size as in the grocery stores. They are called Egg Starts and are 99% egg whites. I buy two cases at a time :)Quote:

They actually taste really good. I add garlic powder and ground pepper as well. I use them any time I would normally use eggs...even in protein pancakes :DQuote:

so thats like 2 cups....or 15 larg egg whites. so if there is 6 boxes...thats $7 for 90 egg whites...about .08 cents an egg white. holy crap. thats a lot cheaper than buying 5 doz eggs at the store! and you dont have to crack them!! im gonna get on that! thanks!Quote:

They come in a yellow box and Costco's brand name is "Kirkland Signature". Just off the top of my head, I think 1/4 cup is 6 grams protein...so that would be 48 grams protein/box OR 288 grams protein/case. That comes out to 2 cents/gram of protein. I like that number even better!Quote:

Cool, thanks for the info guys and gals. I've been using the packs now for quite some time. I use so many though so I think it's time to buy in bulk now. I have 2 in the morning and 2 before I workout. 12 packs in a box, but my mom keeps me stocked usually :)
hehe...yer mom :urmom:
no thats cool...if my parents lived here i would move in!! tell mom to hit up sams or costco though, i dont imagine you eat like a mouse. :)
