Need Help For Quick Question Fast!!

I am about to leave town, so need to know now. Are maltodextrine and oatmeal interchangeable as complex carbs? I ask b/c i will be bringing my whey with me out of town, and would like to jsut bring powdered malto instead of oatmeal so i dont have to bring my blender along as well to mix and grind the oatmeal. With the malto, I can just throw it is a shaker with my whey and its good to go. Is this ok to do for a week? Like make a ciouple MRP's this week with whey and malto instead of whey and oats for my pro/carb meals?

Malto ranks 105 on the GI Index, its not even close to a replacement for oats.

My advice would be , use a coffee grinder and grind up your oats into a powder and then you will be able to drink them. I throw ground oats in my shake from time to time.
