    food b4 running

    Any opinions on what food (type and amounts) I should consume before I run, to ensure maximum output?

    running a 5k. 27yrs. old. 5'10, 195lbs., 10%bf.

    I don't run so I can't help ya. Running burns too much muscle.

    it's a PFT for the Corps. Have to run them every so often. I run about 7mi a week....

    i always used to have a moderate carb meal the night before a test and then have a powergel about 15mins before we started.
