    post cadio meal

I know this meal must be pro fat,is there anything wrong with having some sort of beef with this meal. I my case i would use 2 93 percent lean burger patties and a slice of cheese which makes out 46 grams of protein and 20 grams of fat any problems with this

In a pinch, sure but if i had a choice, no!

I think a fast absorbing protein such as a shake works best for me personally and i don't even want to eat anything heavy after cardio, a shake and 1 tbsp Flax does it for me.

You can also make this a pro/carb if you so choose.

I've heard alot of people say to have a pro/carb post cardio.

    any other opinions?

I agree. Need the carbs to replace glyco stores and the obvious for protein.

I would however avoid Carb/fat. I know no one mentioned it. Figured to throw it out on the table.

i agree with muriloninja on the whey part because of faster aborsption. but i need carbs after fasting for 10-12 hours, so i have some oats also. but if you feel you dont need carbs after cardio add some EFAs instead of carbs.

are you cutting? you probably wanna try and stay away from too much sat fats. have you tried 96% lean beef? only 4g fat per 4oz

I prefer pro/fat 45m-1hr after cardio works great for me, now of course this is me personally. I think my next cut i will utilize pro/carb just to mix it up and see what it does for me this time around.
