    Bulking and fighting

I am underweight and know it. However, I'm lean, ripped and like having abs and hate the smooth look. I did cardio 7x a week on an incline walk for 40 minutes for soooo long its sick. probably over a year. My diet has always been 100% clean.

Anyways, I've overcome one hump and didnt do cardioyesterday. Today, I slow, slow, slow jogged for 10 minutes with my dog before breakfast. 1 mile max. I teach a spinning class every friday eve and will do 40 minutes of am cardio sat and sun on the treadmill. Problem is, since I cut my cardio, I now dont eat anything but a 1/2 cup oats a nd 50g of whey after I train at 730pm and then go to bed at 9. If I just jogged for 10 minutes for a mile in the am, slow slow trot......just to move the blood, would I stay pretty lean with a clean diet of meats, veggies, oats, egg whites, peanuts, and almonds? And cottage cheese skim milk?

Still suffering from that pwo and ppwo issue of carbs/pro, pro fat, why/why not, how much this/that, etc., I see.

I have no way in which to answer the open ended questions. Maybe someone else can shed some light on it, or make reference to the other 30 some odd threads that discuss the same thing.

    Ski a great winter!

No flame, but sounds like you're over analyzing this way too much, man! Try new things with your body, see how it responds, there is always room and time to go back to the way it was before if you dont like the transformation! Lighten up and give your metabolism a change to addapt to the new conditions, you might like the end results...

quit your crying and go out and eat a few greasy hamburgers, slam down some beers and take the next week off any kind of training.
That should help you get over yourself and shock your body back into reality.

    Yes, depending on your diet.

I say none. your workouts should be intense enough to be getting cardio from that. rest 1 minute or less between sets and no more than 2-3 minutes between exercises.

1 hour of intense lifting should have you pretty exhausted.

My cardio last bulk = the distance from the car door to the seat in the restaurant.

You forgot the chewing of your food. This has been a staple for me while bulking.
