This is a really stupid ? but..

When a diet calls for lets say 1Cup of oats..Is that Dry or prepared?

I know this is dumb but I just want to mae sure.

Usually dry, yes.

Then again, it depends on what diet you are looking at, as there may be some out there that use cooked as the final measurement.

Usually dry always though.
