    PPWO & PWO

    Sorry, this a total newb question but I keep seeing these to terms popping up and want to know what they are. What does PPWO and PWO stand for???

    yes.
    Pwo- usually being a shake. Whey/double amt in high gi carbs such as dextrose
    ppwo-a solid meal with lean protein and low gi carbs 45-60mins afterwards

    Shouldn't that be the other way around?

    Hi carbs for PPWO workout and low carbs for PWO or is it just so damn late at night that I can't think straight???

    PPWO is post-post workout. The MEAL consumed app. 1 hours after your PWO protein/carb shake. The PPWO meal should also be a pro/carb meal, but should focus on low GI carbs as opposed to high GI carbs.

    Just remember a diet is goal oriented, so some people prefer low and other prefer high GI carbs.

    pwo - is the shake straight after training...
    ppwo - is the solid meal after the pwo shake which is usually within hour or hour and half of the pwo shake.....
