Extreme sicknesses aside, why not cook the eggs which make more of the product bio-available?

I myself got salmonella, and I would have rather died than gone through that.

No kidding, at one point I was begging to. That is how far out of it I was.

If you want raw egg product for some reason, use the pasteurized stuff.
If you're going to drink snot on purpose, make it pastuerized snot.

BIO-AVAILABILITY as I said, that being the key reason.
You want to get the most out of your product.

Swole, i always thought heat denatured protein by coagulating the amino acid strands. Is this wrong? or is it true but just for meat?

ugh! ive been there...tried to cook chicken in the microwave (it was late, and i was starving). it didnt taste like it was undercooked, but apparently it was. 3 days of sitting on the toilet and throwing up in the bathtub.

    so yeah, cook your eggs.

ok lets look at this you have a .001% chance of gettin sala. from raw eggs or less.
    i eat about 10 a day
as long as the yolk is consumed w/ the white your fine
the high binding affinity for biotin from avidin kan be bad news but since the yolk contains 25mcg's your fine

Raw biotin can cause some rare diseases if you're genetically predisposed to them. Other than that, I cook my eggs on the stove under low heat while I'm in the shower. I crack 'em, put in the pan on low, come back out with the towel on 10 min later and Voila!

If you like taking risks, more power to you.

I just don't see the sense in it at all, especially when you get MORE out of the eggs by cooking them, but do as you wish.

Are you saying an egg yolk contains app. 25 mcg's of biotin? That is very interesting to know...I had no clue. Now I have a biotin "back-up source" to combine with r-ala!
