Help with Dextrose
Ok my buddy has seen be gobble some Sweet Tarts after my workouts and asked me wtf I eat those for. I explain I need it for Dextrose. When he asked what that does and the importance... I didn't want to tell him... uhh because some people on this forum tell me I should :P
So for my own knowledge and for people I want to educate, what exactly does Dex do (spike insulin levels to help protien get to muscle faster? is that it?)
Also, how important is the 2:1 dex/pro ration for the PWO. I mean, could I get away with a 1.5/1 ratio?
