    Who can post the cheapest, but most effective Diet?

    I just wanted to see who could post a diet that was cheap but effective. Idealy it would amount to about 3000 calories with a minimum of 280g of protein daily which could include shakes.

    I started this thread as I have read a lot of posts for diet critiques where the diet posted wasnt that good. So just wanted to pick your brains.

    To sum up what I would do considering the food prices in sweden(meat is very expensive here).

    400 grams of soybeans/day=roughly 130g protein.
    400grams of meat/day=80 grams protein.
    200grams of whey protein/day=160g protein.
    A few servings of brown rice, lentils and/or any beans besides soy spread over the day oatmeal breakfast.
    5 pieces of fruit.
    Frozen veggies to each meal.

    380+grams of protein, around 3500-4000kcal depending on how fat the meat you pic is. You get everything you need, good variety of aminoacids, everything is dirt cheap. Plenty of fiber, plenty of minerals from the beans and veggies ect.
    This is what I would do if I was short on cash and bulking heavily.

    I live in the UK. So for me the cheapest produce are things like oats, rice, pastas and some kinds of meats like mince beef are reasonably priced. Also veg are cheap enough.

    pricing in our countries are probably similar.
