    atkins diet got me sick

    i started the atkins diet 3 days ago eating nothing but meat and some brocoli and spinach and I feel sick. I'm done with this diet. Anyone used swole cat before?

    Oh, I see said the blind man. IMO theres plenty of free diet info on this site and others. But do as u wish.

    dude. you have to give yyor bowels time to get used to the meat. or maybe you ate to much ground meat. red meat is fine as long as its not cooked well done, but with ground meat you have to cook it well so limit that to twice a day. Try more chicken, and eggwhites ans experiment with different fat sources. chees, nuts, peanut butter, olive oild, eggyolks. See wich ones agree with your gut. maybe your gut cant take to much beef and cheese. no matter. just swtich to chicken, eggs, or egg protein powder, tuna, salmon,whatever.

    Dont give up on the diet yet. Just tweak it. play with it. Make your own version of it. And dont go crazy with the fat. Too much can make you fat also. I usually do it like 500gm protein, 70gram fat(with 10 grams coming from fish oil).
    O yeah, dont forget your omega-3's
