Laura Creavalle's book is pretty cool.

Personally, my mum taught me to cook when i was rather young and i don't really look around for recipes. I may see something online...or on the back of a tin...and concoct a health-conscious version in the kitchen.

Growing up, I also learned how to cook from my Mom. Best investment I never made.

I spent nearly 10 yrs working in kitchens so have a good knowledge of foods. But you dont need to be a chef to be a good cook you just need to know what sorts of foods go together and which ones dont

With good taste, a little creativity and the knowledge obtained on AR you can create your own recipes like I did.
