Beef Jerky good ?
I wanted to ask if that Beed Jerky is any good. I mean it has 25g protein in every small serving (51g of beef). 9 carbs and 1g fat. The only thing is it has a 1080mg of sodium per serving. Is sodium bad for us ? how much sodium should I eat a day ? What does it do ?
Cuz today I just ate 3 small bags of it... its about 3200mg of sodium !
Thanks guys

ive also wondered about this for a snack

it's good except for the amount of salt added to it, and alot of it has added color, so i'd stick to the original one with minimal salt.

The Sodium will add to bloat, but this shouldn't be an issue if you are bulking or preparing for a show I would guess.

i like it and eat a lot of it when i am bulking but it gets expensive to buy all the time. But i agree with chest with the sodium and bloating.

Sodium is an electrolyte and the body does need certain amounts of it. I believe it is about 1500 mg/day. While beef jerky is quite high in sodium, as long as you are drinking ample amounts of water during the day, it shouldn't be a problem- other than what chest pointed out. I think its a great snack.
