R-ALA vs. ALA for cutting
why is R-ALA more primative for cutting than ALA?
should it be supplemented with any other aminos to help it work?

Use R-ALA and take it with carbs meals, however I'd skip it PWO. So all other carb meals.

i take it PWO
and take a double or triple dose PWO if using inulin - along with chrom picolinate

I personally don't feel its needed PWO since nutrient transport is at max efficiency at that time.

so r-ala allows me to get away with eating high glycemic carbs throughout the day because of the way it manipulates insulin and brings nutrients to muscles and not adipose cells or whatever?

In a roundabout way...yes! But of course it is not a miracle worker..you still got to kep carbs in check naturally. Or basically it does not give you free reign to have an extra cup of rice, oats, etc.. IMO.

only advantage I can think of when using r-ala with slin would be that you could get away with less slin. They probably mean at other times of the day to keep insulin sensitivity high.

Racemic is an equal portion of the R and S isomers. Otherwise known as "standard" or "regular" ALA.
The R in R-ALA is to let you know that the compound contains only the R isomer, and is not combined with the S to form a "racemic" mixture.
