    ABSOLUTELY!

ANPB and shelled peanuts are a staple......been known to go through a jar every few days while bulking....also, look into walnuts (very good profile), sunflower and pumpkin seeds, pistachios, cashews (to an extent), etc....

Macadamias are also a viable alternative.

I was reading a book on allergies and allergens a couple weeks ago.

If your friend is allergic to almonds.. there's a high probability that she's allergic to peanuts.

Actually.. the book conveyed that it's more than likely that she'd be predisposed to violent allergic reactions to peanuts...although peanuts aren't a true Nut (a legume rather)

    My advice?

Let her try sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds or something along that line.

Too funny, the first thing that came to mind when Macadamia nuts was suggested was that episode of Friends
