What are the best sources of protein?

I know the usual stuff like tuna, chicken, salmon, some red meats. But what other really good sources of protein. I would like to mix my diet up a little.

How about stuff like lean lamb meat, shrimp, other fish like trout, or any other food so I don't have to eat chicken eight times a week.

Doesn't matter, it will all go into a poll containing all the other proteins.

I can't see a large portion of my protein coming from beans, I am looking for lean protein that I can eat a lot of while I am cutting. For me it is a lot easier to stick to a diet that has variety and I don't get sick of any certain food.

over half my protein comes from soybeans nowdays.

aslong as you get protein from plenty of different sources the quality of each protein source is of no importance.

How do they taste? And how good are they compared to getting protein from meats?

both are complete proteins so both meat and soy could be used as the only source of protein. But meat has a better balance of aminoacids so meat is the better protein.

But like I said. Unless you plan on eating only soybeans any quality difference wont be noticable in gains.

The taste is very bland. But it can be spices in a million ways and its dirt cheap

8 grams in a whole egg. Only 3 grams in a egg white.
