does milk really do a body good???

So I was watching this commercial on T.V. that said milk along with a reduced calorie diet can aid fat loss. Hell it didnt even say skim milk, i think it mentioned 1 percent. I know that if you are in a caloric deficit you will loose weight eating shit as long as you burn it off, but I just thought milk would hinder your fat loss, not aid it, because of the sugars. Also I thought I would humor you fellas with what my college biology professor told the class. He said that whole milk and egg yolks were the most nourishing foods on this earth because milk is made to help make babys grow and egg yolks are what helps chickens grow in the eggs. Then again he is fat ass shit and probably cant see his dick.

I'd make it Skim milk, and yes milk is just fine. However that whole milk will adi in weight loss, well on a reduced calorie diet, anything pretty much will. That's all marketing.

The sugars in milk act very much like complex carbs. So they can be though of as very similar even though the label reads sugar. Which by the way is very decieving.

Thanks man, yeah those sugars seem pretty high, but im glad to know they act much like complex carbs, that makes me feel a little better. I think I will be ok with the milk for a little while longer and just cut it out completely a few weeks before the shirt comes off infront of the ladies.

It is the calcium in milk that helps burn fat, so says "research".

DONT DRINK IT PRE WORK OUT ON:
    LEG DAYS
    BACK DAYS
Any training day that involves BENDING OVER!

    or you wil puke!

i love it for my PPWO meal which is last meal of the day for me.. it has massive carbs which help me come down from my 20+iu slin shots and caesin protein which has a positive nitrogen ballance for up to 8hrs due to the "BALLING" effect in the intestines which prevents me from using gluconeogenic aminos for fuel in me sleep

I think soy can be used from time to time, but I do try and stay away from it as much as possible. I think the whole estrogen thing might be a bit overrated, so I suppose if its going well for you Soy Milk could be an option.

Aslong as you are not lactose intollerant its good. But alot more people are lactose intolerant without knowing it and it WILL effect almost all nutrition absorbtion. So if your bloated often ditch whey shakes, milk and other diary products(except cheese)for a few weeks and se if it helps.

There is so much to say regarding this post.. I really dont know where to start..

Do some research on Milk and milk products .. The process of pasteurization
destroys the active enzymes and studies have suggested that it also causes the milk protein to be unassimilable by the body.

Raw milk is alive with fully active enzymes, a broad spectrum of naturally occurring beneficial bacteria, all 22 essential amino acids, 18 good fatty acids, metabolically available vitamins, allergy and asthma fighting immunoglobulins, minerals, antioxidants, and CLA.

Whether or not to have milk in your diet at all is a good question for this forum...

Yeah I agree with you. Todays milk isnt the best product in existance. But I think the anti milk pages are realy taking things to far aswell. I think its a pretty neutral part of a diet health wise. Neither benificial or detrimental.
